Abstract

This research investigates the crucial role of university-private sector partnerships in driving sustainable development, particularly within the context of Algeria's current challenges. Using the University of M'sila as a case study, it analyzes the legal and conceptual frameworks governing public-private partnerships in Algeria. A qualitative assessment of the University of M'sila partnerships examines their agreements, areas of cooperation, mechanisms, and encountered challenges. The study also explores the legal basis for university operations and the conditions for research partnerships. Finally, it evaluates the existing legal framework's effectiveness, proposing amendments to enhance these partnerships and maximize their contribution to sustainable development, while acknowledging the University of M'sila successes and the need to address persistent challenges
