The study addresses the question of peace and security in the Mediterranean region, in the light of the international intervention in Libya since 2011, based on the geopolitical reality imposed by the post-Cold War transformations and the polarization of relations between the countries of the northern and southern shores of the Mediterranean. By monitoring the results of the international intervention and its regional repercussions at the political, security and humanitarian levels, the study seeks to form a picture of the extent of the impact of the situation in Libya, after the international intervention on the security reality in a region with high stakes for major international powers, and what are the future features in light of the realities of the current.
