Abstract

The contemporary context witnesses a marked expansion of cybercrimes, posing significant challenges to investigative authorities, as traditional expertise is insufficient to detect such offenses or collect relevant evidence, Digital investigative expertise is a core tool to enhance the efficiency of investigating private crimes, providing technical capabilities to uncover and safeguard electronic evidence.  Developing investigators’ digital competencies is essential for an effective legal response, as insufficient training and weak technological infrastructure hinder crime detection and prosecution, Training programs and adequate technical resources strengthen investigative teams’ capabilities and ensure digital justice, Digital expertise also enables investigators to address evolving cybercrime methods and protect legal rights, making it pivotal to the effectiveness of modern digital investigations.
