The Child’s Right to Defense in front of the Courts in the Algerian Legal System

Abstract

 stipulated for the child in front of judicial authorities that consider children’s cases in most international agreements, and Algerian legislation. It is devided into the right of direct defence that the child exercises himself, or through his legal representative,from one hand and the child’s right to defence that he exercises through a lawyer.it focuses on demonstrating the compatibility of the legislation with international texts in this field, and the extent to which it guarantees this right for the child whose case is presented to the Algerian judiciary.
