Air transport of cargo is one of the most important aspects of commercial exploitation of air navigation. Commercial exchanges cannot be made without transportation of cargo from one place to another. The essence of air transport is to change its place by air by means of an aircraft that allows transportation from the airport of delivery to the airport of arrival. In order to complete the air transport operation, the air carrier has several obligations, perhaps most notably those received during the air transport phase of the aircraft for the purpose of delivering the whole goods to the consignee in good condition within a reasonable period of time to the agreed airport of arrival.
