The role of Algerian civil society in achieving sustainable development goals

Abstract

Civil society plays a crucial role in achieving sustainable development goals, given the ability of its organizations to access the popular bases in society, touch their needs and aspirations, and try to develop them socially, economically, culturally, and environmentally. Despite the newness of civil society in Algeria compared to the existing authority and the various challenges it faces, it has been able to evolve and somewhat achieve its assigned objectives.
