Abstract

The success of any country in attracting foreign investments depends on the extent to which its legislative system possesses the elements of legal security, Therefore, various countries strive to embed it in their legislations and ensure its actual implementation, Similar to the Algerian legislator who tended to adopt it according to the constitutional amendment of the year 2020, From this standpoint the principle of legal security is considered one of the most crucial factors that pique the interest of foreign investors, This is due to the protection of their expectations, the securing of their rights, and the guarantee of their investment projects, This is demonstrated by giving them the opportunity to include certain clauses in the investment contracts that bind them with the Algerian state, which will preserve the stability and continuity of these contracts.
