Media coverage of the Arab teams during the 2018 World Cup in Russia –El Khabar Newspaper Model-

Abstract

Our urge is to study how the sports press covers the matches of the Arab football
teams in the 2018 World Cup organized in Russia in its 21st edition from 14 June to 15 July, so
that the thing that increased the flavor is the joy of the Arab peoples to qualify four Arab teams
for the first Once the Tunisian, Moroccan, Egyptian and Saudi Arabians have watched these
teams go away in the competition, so the following question was asked: How did El-Khabar
handle the Arab teams competitions in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia? A study to analyze
the content and Historical Method of the Algerian daily newspaper El-Kabar daily for the various
events that characterized this session, where in this research was used the descriptive method
using the content analysis tool to reveal the newspaper's interest in this sport competition
during the study period, which represented the sample studied and estimated thirty-two
number of newspaper replaced studying.
