Abstract

Physical education and sports are part of general education aimed at creating the individual in a serious, mental, moral, social and emotional way to ensure that he or she adapts to the various life situations he will face. It goes without saying that the nature of activities in the physical and sports education class is aimed at developing a sense of responsibility and promoting a spirit of belonging, cooperation, appreciation, respect, exchange, tolerance and competition; values that are important, making them a central basis in the formation of the human personality, and are even more important when it comes to schoolchildren; Where to contribute to the establishment of the base vessel that fosters the profile of the student, which will crystallize after acquiring behaviors employed in various interactive situations, both in the school environment and outside it, which will qualify and gain the latter in the future principles and rules controlled and directed to all his actions within the framework of functional and positive harmony with the ruler of the value system and educational reference aimed at raising the individual to be characterized by collective behavior. In keeping with the above, this article aims to show the objectives of physical and sports education and the extent to which it contributes to rationalization towards the values of cooperation and competition among students through the curriculum and physical and sports activity
