Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of the progressive muscle relaxation training program on relieving psychological stress to improve the level of running , The study population included the clubs of the state of M'sila, and the study sample consisted of 12 runners from the Sidi hamla Club, a campaign for athletics by deliberate method, We also relied on the experimental method, as well as the psychological stress scale and the 800m run achievement test, The researcher concluded that there is a positive effect of gradual muscle relaxation on relieving psychological stress and improving the level of running achievement
