The rôle of the Algerian Al-Hadaf channel in spreading sports culture from the point of view of female university students A field study on a sample of female university students at M'sila University

This study aims to investigate the role of sports media in Algeria, embodied in the Algerian Al-Hadaf
channel, in spreading and promoting sports culture seen by female students at the University Mohammed
Boudiaf of M'sila. This study falls within the descriptive studies, where the survey method was adopted. Anintentional sample of 180 individuals was chosen over several disciplines, and the questionnaire technique
was relied upon to collect data, and a number of results were reached in the light of the following hypotheses :
* Female university students are keen to follow the programs of Al-Hadaf channel on an ongoing basis, in the
spare time available to them.
* of Al-Hadaf channel is the first source of sports information for the studied sample.
* Television contains a set of characteristics that make it more acceptable and influential to the university
students under study.
* of Al-Hadaf channel contributes greatly to spreading and promoting the culture of exercise among the study
