The effect of proposed educational units in improving some basic skills in handball

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the effect of educational units in improving some basic skills of handball for students in the intermediate stage, and the problem of the research came through the observation of the researcher in this field and he found that there is a weakness to use the modern learning models and their applications in the field of education and teaching and the accreditation by thé présentation of the teacher, and hence the importance of the research is helping physical education teachers to use educational units in a scientific manner, which helps to improving some basic skills of the student’s handball, and the experimental method was used by designing the two equal groups. The number of 140 boys and girls students, while the research was organised in a simple way, amounted to 28, with 14 students in the group, where some students were excluded for different reasons. One of the statistical means to access the data for the research, and the researcher concluded that the educational units affect the improvement of basic skills In handball, the researcher recommends a set of recommendations, including: focusing on the use of skillful physical exercises during the educational units for age groups and in the forms that suit them, developing other educational curricula according to the use of other effective educational methods such as (the generative method, the directed discovery method... etc).
