This research paper seeks to examine the relationship between the speed attribute and two traits (speed endurance and explosive strength) in the process of talent identification and disclosure in fast running races. We adopted a descriptive approach and worked with a purposively selected sample of 60 students. Research tools included a 30-meter sprint test to measure speed, a 30-meter * 5 sprints test with a 30-second rest to measure speed endurance, and a standing broad jump test to measure explosive strength. After collecting and statistically processing the data, we found a significant correlation between the speed attribute and the traits of speed endurance and explosive strength among the study sample. The study recommends the application of scientific criteria and standards in the process of identifying and selecting students talented in fast running activities.
