Abstract

The research aims to know the relationship between some anthropometric variables represented in the length of the torso and the length of the arm aiming at the ball for basketball players on wheelchairs and some kinematic variables by highlighting some important points in terms of identifying the disability, especially the motor disability, and some appropriate sports activities that the physically disabled aspire to and on The way to search is wheelchair basketball and its kinetic and technical requirements. In our research, we deliberately followed the scientific path according to the planning or descriptive approach on wheelchair basketball players, medical classification category 4 points, where our choice of the research sample was in the intentional way on the players of this sports specialty for the two clubs active in The National Championship, Nour Msila Club and Al-Houdna Club. Through this category, we proceeded to cinematography, as well as adopting a skill test according to the requirements of this category to collect the scientific material for the investigation. The data was processed using the spss system. The results of the research confirm that the measurements of the lengths of the upper part directly affect the kinematic variables that help the effective skillful performance of the triple throw from stability.
