Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of a recreational sports program based on semi-sport games on improving social interaction and reducing stereotypical behavior among children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The study adopted a one-group experimental design and included a purposive sample of six children aged between 6 and 10 years. The program was implemented over eight weeks. Data collection tools included a structured questionnaire. The results indicated the program’s effectiveness in significantly enhancing social interaction and notably reducing stereotypical behaviors
