Fencing is one of the sports that requires physical and motor skills, and these are among the most important foundations upon which a fencer relies. A player who lacks the necessary physical abilities for a particular activity will not be able to master the motor skills of that activity. Endurance is an important quality for a fencer; therefore, a player must possess adequate stamina to continue training and participate in a certain number of competitions during tournaments without a decline in their physical and technical performance. Without endurance, a player cannot repeat offensive and defensive skills and maintain a high level of performance efficiently, thus failing to achieve success.
