Abstract

The media, in reality, are means of awareness and dissemination, regardless of their various forms and circumstances. They fall within a framework that can be called the cultural media, and therefore they play an important role in the formation and development of societies. They transmit science and knowledge to others, and sports, as a characteristic of the small society that is linked to the practice of certain physical and intellectual activities among its members, depend to a large extent on these means. Based on this, our study came to highlight the contribution of sports radio media in developing social interactions among athletes of team sports. Our study concluded that there are several tremendous roles that cannot be underestimated for sports radio media in the communication and connection of societies with each other and with the athlete in particular, and this is through refining him with knowledge as well as the social roles that he has come to play.
