Human contribution will never cease as long as life exists and as long as human needs are renewed and require means and methods to satisfy these needs. The high level of modern management is largely linked to the achievements of science and technology, and the integration of science into all aspects of life has provided new fertile ground for solving problems related to human activity, including management in general and sports management in particular. This led us to ask: Is Algerian sports management making optimal use of computer and internet technology, and what is the reality of this? Our study aims to shed light on the actual reality of information technology use in our Algerian sports management in order to define its parameters and classify ourselves in relation to other countries, especially since we have entered the world of sports professionalism, which requires administrative professionalism. This study was conducted on a randomly selected sample from all levels of management, consisting of 60 administrators working permanently in the Batna Regional Football League and its affiliated leagues. The descriptive analytical method, appropriate for studying such phenomena, was used, and questionnaires and interviews were used as data collection tools, along with some statistical methods for analysis. We concluded that the reality of employing information technology in sports management, in particular, is one of recovery, if it survives at all. There is a seed and a slow pace of computer and internet technology adoption that needs to be revived and given more attention in order to move towards e-management and administrative professionalism. There is an existing infrastructure that facilitates the automation of Algerian sports management, as it does not require significant capital or effort, but rather the development of a competent and qualified human resource that keeps pace with developments in the field of e-management.
