The role of educational sports media in reducing violence in sports facilities

The educational institution is a social institution that occupies a prominent position among other social institutions in terms of its size and function. In terms of size, it connects with all citizens and all educational fields. In terms of function, it prepares individuals – through education – for all life tasks, especially economic ones. It also instills a sense of citizenship and responsibility by instilling in them the chosen cultural values. This institution, despite its diverse fields, ultimately aspires to instill a culture of society that works to instill in the individual socially acceptable behavior. Educational sports media is considered among these fields that have a role in shaping a culture of non-violence and reducing its various manifestations observed in sports facilities. This intervention will address this role and how to activate it by focusing on the importance and general objectives of educational sports media and its contribution to establishing the values of tolerance and sportsmanship, especially within sports facilities.
