Abstract

World-class sports are largely dependent on two key factors: intensity and consistency. Reaching the top is difficult, and staying there is even harder. The national sports movement has witnessed significant development, necessitating the emergence of new scientific disciplines that study all aspects related to sports, and athletes in particular, as they are the primary stakeholders in its development and the first to suffer its consequences. This has led to studies focusing on physiology, morphology, and anatomical aspects. Alongside these developments, the field of sports medicine has also experienced remarkable growth. Despite this progress, athletes and players engaged in any physical activity still face several shortcomings in this area, especially given the abundance of talent across all sports, particularly football, a sport characterized by frequent physical contact between players, which often results in numerous sports injuries. Algeria, like other countries, suffers from a shortage in this field, such as specialists, specialized centers, and resources, especially within sports clubs. Many talented young players have emerged strongly in the field of football and were on their way to becoming professionals at high international levels, but after suffering injuries, they did not receive the necessary care and treatment to return to their previous physical levels.
