Abstract

Sports medicine addresses numerous topics that serve athletes, maintaining their physical fitness and training. It also encompasses many branches of science, including: sports physiology, nutritional programs and principles, anatomy, athletic training, treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries, and many others. Experience and time spent in sports allow each of us to discover ourselves and gain personal self-awareness. Often, an enthusiastic athlete is unaware of their physical fitness limits and the potential risks of continuing strenuous exercise. Therefore, through this medical monitoring, we help them understand these limits and alert them to any potential dangers.
