Abstract

The study aimed to know the reality of participation in school sports competitions in light of the Corona pandemic among secondary school students, as the hypotheses of the study included, in their entirety, that the Corona pandemic had an impact on participation in school sports competitions, and in order to verify the validity of the hypothesis, the researcher used a questionnaire directed to teachers of education The field study was conducted on a sample of 22 teachers of physical education and sports, in addition to 200 male and female high school students under study, and after collecting and unloading the data, the researcher used a sufficient squared test, Where the study concluded with results, the most important of which is that the Corona pandemic has an impact on participation in school sports competitions, the absence of motivation among some teachers of physical education and sports limits the participation of secondary school students in school sports competitions, there is motivation among secondary school
