Abstract

The scientific and technological leap has given a strong boost to media reports, particularly from widely disseminated radio and television networks, and especially sports media. The Algerian system is considered a democracy built on three branches of government: legislative, executive, and judicial, with a fourth branch being the media, including radio, television, and newspapers. Since the constitution of February 23, 1989, the media in Algeria has been subject to government control.
