Abstract

The media has imposed its presence on human life, and people can no longer ignore these communication tools that broadcast news and interpret events to develop their knowledge and experiences. This is what Nour El-Din Abdel-Gawad emphasized when he said that the best way to meet the needs of this era is to understand education as a primary means of raising and educating the individual, and how to use media or communication to achieve its goals. This is what we have come to know as educational media, which plays an active role in the school environment, as it tries to disseminate various cultures, information, and knowledge, including sports culture, which is old in its meaning but new in its terminology. It is old because people first taught their children or others in the form of physical activities such as hunting, tree climbing, and so on, even if the goal was not to practice physical activity. It is new because we now know that everything a person acquires is culture; therefore, every movement or piece of sports information that a person acquires is considered sports culture. Therefore, sports culture, as a widespread social phenomenon, contributes to human and civilizational development, as its roots are connected to the lives of individuals through practice, viewing, education, recreation, hobby and professionalism, culture and health, to the extent that it is impossible to decide today that there are those who do not appreciate its importance.
