Abstract

Football has always been the most popular sport in the world, with coaches and players placing great importance on training to serve it. Everyone strives to perform their duties with the highest level of efficiency to reach peak physical, technical, psychological, and ethical performance during play. Development hasn't stopped there, as biomechanics, biology, medicine, and physics have all contributed to its evolution. This is due to the intense competition between teams vying for titles and entering the global market, leading everyone to seek innovation to differentiate themselves and secure victory. The game's demands have gradually increased as teams evolve and exert pressure on each other. Modern football emphasizes speed and power, as these enable players to position and reposition themselves, create openings in the opponent's defense, and generate numerical superiority in attacking areas. Football is characterized by intermittent exertion, meaning a series of sudden (short-duration) bursts of effort frequently, separated by recovery phases, most of which are positive. There is particularly intense movement every 43 seconds. The scientist Dufon adds that the heart rate increases during high-intensity exertion (2-3 seconds), as was the case in 1989. This also applies to sprinting, which was estimated at 70 beats per minute per match in 1947 and increased to 185 in 1985. Among the sudden accelerations, the following were estimated: 40 accelerations of 1-5 meters, 30 accelerations of 5-10 meters, 20 accelerations of 10-20 meters, and 10 accelerations of more than 20 meters. These accelerations and changes in rhythm after individual duels are very important; they are decisive in a match, as they create a goal or thwart an opponent's attack. Therefore, the athlete must be both strong and fast. If we incorporate sudden and rapid movements in training sessions and repeat them frequently, we will develop the physical qualities of a football player that will serve him well in the game.
