The aim of our study is to understand the perception of the effect of an intensive and less voluminous training load compared to another less intensive and more voluminous program on the improvement of physical capacities in female and male judokas. Our study involves eighty (80) competitive judokas divided into two distinct groups exclusively by their performance level. The first group consists of "international level judokas, girls and boys (JGI and JFI)" with the following characteristics: age: (23.40 years ± 0.08 and 20.30 years ± 0.11), weight: (88.20 kg ± 0.45 and 59.50 kg ± 0.27), height: (178.03 cm ± 0.06 and 162.20 cm ± 0.02). The second group: "national level judokas, girls and boys (JGN and JFN)" with ages (22.20 years ± 0.09 and 21.40 years ± 0.10), weight: (74.00 kg ± 0.34 and 58.40 kg ± 0.42), height: (172.04 cm ± 0.08 and 164.30 cm ± 0.02). International level judokas follow an intensive and less voluminous training regimen, while national level judokas follow a less intensive and more voluminous training regimen. The comparison between the two groups of judokas reveals better performance in the judokas (JGI and JFI) compared to the group of judokas (JGN and JFN) during the various assessments. The performances used in the physical tests seem to be influenced by the intensity of the exercises, results reflected by the very pronounced effect of an intensive and less voluminous training load on the improvement of perfor...
