The effectiveness of digital finance in achieving financial inclusion in the Arab Republic of Egypt

Abstract

This studyaims to discuss how to reachfinancial inclusion by movingtowards digital financial services by presentingEgypt s experience and knowing how its orientation towards digital finance contributed to itsjourneytowardsfinancial inclusion by highlighting the importance of digital financialtechnology and determining the relationshipbetweenit and financial inclusion and analyzing international data on the Egyptianexperience in financial inclusion. In addition to the lack of awareness and the prevailing digital financial culture; despitehaving a decent digital infrastructure. The mostprominentrecommendationswerethatitbecamenecessary to provide an appropriateenvironmentthat encourages the trend towards digital financial services,knowing the mostprominent obstacles thathindersuccess and giving the necessarymaterial and moral guarantees to the users and gainingtheir trust.
