Frameworks and Orientations of Public Spending Policy in Light of the Necessity of Economic Diversification for Oil-Rich Exporting Countries - The Case of Algeria

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the frameworks and trends of the public spending policy in some of the Oil-exporting countries ; through the implementation of programs of economic diversification, the need for Algeria to benefit from the methods used in some oil-countries in the management of budgets such as medium-term budget systems, the optimal utilization of oil resources, the reform of public spending programs to help the growth of productive activities in the sectors leading to growth outside the oil sector, give a greater role to the private sector and encourage it, With rationalization of public expenditure and adjusting its size to suit the absorptive capacities of the national economy.
