Environmental performance assessment in the Algerian economic institution - a case study of the Hasnaoui Foundation in SidiBel Abbes -

Abstract

This studyaimed to know the dimensions of environmental performance assessment of an economic institution. In the theoreticalside, wedealtwith the most important concepts related to the approachesrelated to environmental performance, while the practicalsideincluded a fieldstudy on the assessment of environmental performance at the HasnaouiFoundation in the Wilayat of Sidi Bel Abbes. To achieve the objectives of the study, the questionnaire wasrelied on as a basic tool for data processing and information acquisition. Wedistributed 70 questionnaires to the employees of the institution understudy, as well as usingmanystatisticalmethods to determine the nature of the data and appropriate tests for eachhypothesis. The studyreached a set of results, the most important of whichisthat the HasnaouiFoundation in Sidi Bel Abbes cares about all aspects of environmental performance and evaluatesit on an ongoing basis, and strives to reach a high and distinct level of efficiency and effectiveness as theyreflect the efficiency of environmentalsystems, especially in light of rapid changes.
