Abstract

The study aimed toindentify the role of the knowledge society in improving the performance of the institute of economic and commercial at the university center AbdelhafidBousof-Mila, from the point of view of the faculty members. To reach the objectives of the study and test its hypotheses, a questionnaire was designed for the faculty members of the institute, and (68) valid questionnaires were retrieved for analysis based on the statistical program (SPSS. V22).The study reached several results, the most important of which is that there is a positive role for the knowledge society in its three dimensions, represented in the production of knowledge, the dissemination of knowledge, and its use in improving the performance of the institute at a level of significance (0.05). The study recommended the necessity of providing the appropriate atmosphere for faculty members to increase their performance levels.
