Economic diversification in Arab countries between their economic potential and reality

Abstract

This study aims to highlight the economic potential of the Arab countries, which can be used to diversify their economy to increase their financial abilities, as well as to fortify their economy from the volatility that prevails the world. Where we firstly identified the importance of economic diversity, and reviewed the possibilities and ingredients that Arab countries have from non-internal resources that maybe can be alternative to oil, as well as to recall the reality that characterizes the Arab economy. Where we reached through this study the extent of the backwardness of Arab countries in the field of Technology and infrastructure, also the small volume of bilateral trade, and the inability of Arab products to compete in global markets.
