The impact of the growth of the agricultural sector on the Algerian economy

Abstract

This study aims to know the impact of the growth of the agricultural sector on the Algerian economy by standing on the most important elements of agricultural development and its future goals and to identify the importance of economic growth and its basic indicators to make a developmental leap in the economy and this only comes through diagnosing the reality of the agricultural sector in Algeria and identifying the most important determinants Agricultural development in addition to determining the ways of its contributions to the national economy.

 We have concluded from this study that the greater the interest in the agricultural sector by the state and investment institutions, this led to an increase in economic growth. It also recommended setting mechanisms to direct government support to the agricultural sector and relying on scientific research to improve agricultural productivity and promote exports of agricultural commodities and investment in this vital sector.
