Workplace Training Programme Effectiveness: Perspectives of Employees and Key Stakeholders

Training is a crucial component of growth strategies for businesses and industries, driving adaptability and facilitating change. By improving employee skills, training has a direct impact on productivity and organizational success. In developing countries like Algeria, there is a growing recognition of the importance of preparing workers for professional transitions through effective training initiatives. However, numerous studies have highlighted significant flaws and gaps in the implementation of these programs. Key factors limiting the effectiveness of training include challenges related to design, organization, and evaluation. Understanding these factors requires a detailed analysis of how training is structured, delivered, and assessed. This article explores the effectiveness of corporate training programs, focusing on evaluating training strategies through their engineering phases. Despite support from training departments, many participants express dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the training. Nevertheless, the research uncovers various explanations and offers recommendations to improve the overall effectiveness and impact of corporate training initiatives.
