The Role of E-commerce Websites in Promoting Foreign Trade -A Case Study of Jumia Algeria-

This study aims to highlight the role of Jumia Algeria in supporting and promoting foreign trade by analyzing the opinions of a sample of 150 users of the platform. The research adopted a descriptive approach and case study method, using an online questionnaire for data collection.
The results revealed that Jumia contributes to enhancing Algerian consumers’ openness to global markets by offering a wide range of high-quality foreign products. The study also showed that ease of payment and delivery, along with price transparency, are key factors that strengthen users’ trust and encourage online purchasing.
Overall, the findings indicate that electronic platforms have become an effective means of developing foreign trade and integrating the Algerian market into the global digital economy.
