Entrepreneurship in Algeria: Between wealth creation and social justice
Keywords:
Entrepreneurship, Wealth creation, Social Justice, SMEs, AlgeriaAbstract
This article explores the role of entrepreneurship in the Algerian economy, focusing on its potential to create wealth and promote social justice. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical approach supported by official data and national statistics, along with a review of local and international literature. Findings reveal that entrepreneurship significantly contributes to GDP through the support of small and medium-sized enterprises and the creation of new jobs, particularly for youth and women.
The study also shows that the success of entrepreneurship in achieving social justice depends on the availability of a supportive regulatory environment, effective financing mechanisms, and programs targeting marginalized groups and remote regions. It concludes that entrepreneurship can serve as a dual-impact tool if managed through effective policies integrating both economic and social dimensions.
