Through this paper, we aim to assess the success of the economic, political and social reforms undertaken by the Algerian state during the period from 2000 to 2022, by analyzing a set of internal and external macroeconomic indicators. And the extent of its balance and stability away from oil price fluctuations. We concluded that most of the internal and external economic balances are unstable and regressed over the course of the study due to the dependence of the national economy on oil rents. And we concluded that these indicators are a real measure of the strength or weakness of the national economy, and it is a mechanism for warning and early prediction of the economic situation, at the same time it helped the state to take decisions and direct its policies, and this was clear and obvious through the changes that occurred in the programs Development, the attempt to implement the rupture with the link to the rentier economy and the attempt to diversify it due to the impact of macroeconomic balances, whether at the internal or external level.
