Abstract

The goal of this studyis to mesure the impact of the manufacturing industry on economic growth across different manufacturing sectors during the period from 1974 to 2023 using panel data regression analysis , the chosen model was estimated based on serval statistical tests across threestages ,The first stage involved estimating three models :the pooled regression model ?the random effect model , and the fixed effect model ,after comparing these models the results of the tests indicated that the fixed effects model was the best among the panels, therefore we re-estimated the fixed effects model using the FGLS(Feasible generalized least square) methodology .the results indicated that both median consumption and value added per industrial sector have a positive and significant impact on economic growth.
