Abstract

The growing global environmental impact has shifted the environmental dimension from a luxury to an urgent necessity for economic institutions, the main contributors to issues like climate change and resource depletion. This shift in the managerial paradigm focuses on leveraging environmental performance as a strategic advantage for excellence and survival.

The need to develop scientific methodologies to control the environmental impacts of economic institutions through the environmental assessment process has become evident. This is the objective of the study, which employs a descriptive-analytical approach to explain and analyze the various dimensions of the process in its first section, as well as an inductive approach through a case study of Al-Suwaidi Electric Algeria. The study concluded that the organization under study is committed to achieving environmental sustainability by controlling the majority of the environmental impacts of its various activities.
