Digital Insurance in Algeria: An Exploratory Study of Consumer Attitudes Toward the Adoption of Digital Technologies in the Insurance Sector

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the current state of digital transformation in the insurance sector in algeria by examing and analysing  Algerian consumers’ attitudes toward adopting various digital technologies within the insurance industry. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach, relying on primary data collected through a questionnaire administered to a sample of 120 respondents. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 25.

The findings reveal a growing awareness among Algerian consumers regarding digital technologies in the insurance sector, which can be attributed to the widespread diffusion of associated with consumers’ adoption of such technologies; increased awareness leads to a greater willingness to rely on digital insurance solutions. Moreover, trust and digital security were found to exert a significant influence on consumers’ final adoption decisions.
