Anthropology of crime, from biological approach to cultural approach

In a globalized and changing world, which is constantly producing new phenomena, and imposing its changes.

Crime is one of the configurations of this process, its rate has increased, it has taken advantage of the new conditions ( new technologies, open borders) to execute its plans, to make its business prosper.

As a result, the number of victims is constantly increasing, insecurity and fear are becoming established in societies, which have become risk societies. In such situation, it’s necessary to use scientific knowledge, especially the anthropology of crime, to try to understand this growing phenomenon, and find the solution.

In this context, this article, which deals with the development of  anthropology of crime, and its various approaches to the study of crime.
