Abstract

Africa occupies a distinctive position in Algeria’s foreign relations, Where Algeria and Africa were linked by relations in which historical, geographical and human data were an active factor, and the Algerian revolution with its principles and African dimension had a role in creating fertile ground and laying solid foundations and bases for these relations after independence, which the African orientation in the foreign policy of President Ahmed Ben Bella played a pivotal role in these relations. this study sheds light on the relation of the Algerian revolution with Africa and its impact on Algerian-African relations after independence, and how the African orientation in the foreign policy of President Ahmed Ben Bella contributed in building these relations, which evolved to include all political, economic and cultural fields.
