The subject is a study of the second battle of Djeurf, which took place in the south of the Zone of Tebessa, and which came as a direct result of a successful ambush set up by the Mujahideen on April 4, 1956, for members of a French military convoy during its passage through the place called Al-Maqraqab, near Mount of Djeurf, where did they achieve a new victory? Which led the leadership of the French colonial army to declare a state of emergency and begin the process of mobilizing its forces in order to pursue the mujahideen participating in the ambush, and this led to the outbreak of a fierce and violent battle between the mujahideen of the National Liberation Army and the elite paratrooper units of the French colonial army supported by the military aviation in the period between 05 To April 10, 1956. It was based on tracking the stages and developments of the battle, and analyzing its results, on living testimonies and Algerian and French historical writings that dealt with its various aspects.
