Laila Ben Dhiab and her contributions to reformist journalism

This article is part of the historical studies that monitor feminist media writings in Algeria, which have witnessed the emergence of feminist names that discussed social and cultural topics since the thirties, but the latter remained obscure. Laila Ben Dhiab is considered one of these pens, which did not receive its share of study and attention, and she represented the stage of literary and reformist giving in Al-Basaer newspaper, coupled with educational activity that extended beyond independence. Through it, we seek to introduce Laila Ben Dhiab, her activity, and behind it highlight the feminist reformist activity and its importance in cultural and social life.
