Abstract

This research attempts to study the place as an essential
element of the narration in Ghassan Kanafani's novel "Men in the Sun"; seeking to achieve several objectives such as revealing the essence of the place in the novel, besides determining the relationship of the place with other narrative elements, and revealing the influence of place in the novel, Moreover, studying the characteristics of the place in the novel according to the basic divisions of the place: (the closed place the open place / the home place - the hostile place).
