The policy of financing and reclaiming desert lands in Algeria, as well as the implementation of government programs aimed at developing and utilizing real estate assets, faces many field obstacles and legal, political, social, and economic barriers in achieving food security and sustainable development. Considering the stakes Algeria aims to achieve in reducing import costs and facing future risks, crises, and wars that the world is currently experiencing, it has become necessary to review laws that take into account the investment climate and environment in Algeria in both the short and long term. These laws should align with the requirements and challenges that shape the economic and social policies imposed by the state to direct agricultural investments and lift the restrictions that hinder the exploitation of the agricultural sector.
