Abstract

The legal profession is considered one of the professions that enjoy a prestigious social status, but it has known discrimination that reached its peak under the harshness of the special legislation directed at Algerians to join this profession. It created legal terms that do not live up to the concept of the lawyer’s profession and the legal immunity it enjoys, so the profession of Algerians before the French courts was limited to being defenders and litigation agents.
