Abstract

The study aimed to demonstrate the importance of sporting events as a model for applying modern concepts
in the urban, social and economic aspects and activating sustainable development programs in sporting
events and the necessity of benefiting from modern technology and its applications in life, as well as
exploiting ideas and innovations applied in the field of sustainable development and modern technology,
where we addressed the most important points on which the organization of sporting events is based to
support sustainable development and launch programs that contribute to this, especially in light of modern
technology, which gives ideas and technology, and this is evident in two axes, the first axis is related to the
uses of modern technology in sporting events and the second axis is related to the use of modern systems for
sustainable development in sporting events. We point out that the sports field is considered a fertile field
for applying modern methods in sustainable development and promoting the
