The study aims to determine the role of extra-curricular sports activities in enhancing high
school students' enjoyment of life. The study was conducted on a random sample of 381 male
and female students, using a descriptive survey methodology and utilizing a previously
developed Life Enjoyment Scale as a data collection tool. The results indicated differences in
students' scores on the Life Enjoyment Scale in favor of those who engaged in extra-curricular
sports activities, indicating a positive relationship between extra-curricular sports activities
and enjoyment of life. The study proposed encouraging high school students to participate in
extra-curricular sports activities as it can improve the quality of life, mental health, promote
community engagement, and enhance social relationships among students.
