The role of semi-sports games in developing some social values for secondary school students (A field study on secondary school students of Barhoum, M'sila state)

Abstract

he study aimed to identify the role of semi- sport games in the development of some social values
of high school students in Barhoum in the state of Msila.The sample included (140) male and female
students from the Houari Boumediene High School and the new high school in Barhoum. The
sample was randomly selected between the two secondary schools. To collect data, the scale had
been applied was prepared by students’ researchers, which consists of two axes to determine two
social values, tolerance and respect value, after confirming the scale validity. The study found that
there were significant differences in the responses of the sample members in favor of the role of
semi-sport games in the development of tolerance value and respect value.
