The effect of a mental visualization program on improving the performance level of shooting skill at the goal in soccer’s juniors

Abstract

he study aimed to identify the effect of the mental visualization program on improving the level performance of shooting skill at the goal in soccer’s junior, and to identify the statistical differences between the pre and post test in the level of f shooting skill of the experimental group, in addition to revealing the statistical differences between the two post tests in the level of this skill between the control and experimental groups, and for that we used the experimental method in the manner of equivalent groups, on a sample consisting of 24 players, and after performing the statistical processing of the data in order to verify the validity of the hypotheses, the results showed that there are statistical differences between the pre- and post-test In the level of the shooting skill of the experimental group, the study recommended increasing attention to the smaller groups and providing the pedagogical means necessary for them to ensure the good and smooth progress of the training process.
